November Dates:
11/4: IPR3 grades are pulled. (If you're unfamiliar with this particular acronym, IPR is an Interim Progress Report that is created every three weeks between report cards.) Please check Skyward with your student to make sure there aren't any surprises.
Career Rotations:
On November 16, we're starting our third career rotation!! Check in with your students to see what careers they're looking at now!
Scholarship Opportunity!
Students who complete at least 3 lessons in EverFi:FutureSmart are eligible! All of my students have access to the FutureSmart lessons in EverFi. (They access it through Clever from any computer with Internet access.) Once they complete at least three modules of these lessons focusing on Financial Literacy, they can complete the scholarship application. Good luck!

What's the Deal With the Regrade Form?
Your child may have mentioned, (or complained about), having to submit a regrade form for missing or late work, corrections, or work that was due during an absence.
It's a simple Google Form that they fill out to tell me which assignment they want to have graded, as well as where I'll find their work. It could be a link attached to the form, a paper handed in, or an assigment submitted through Canvas.
I get a notification email that the work is turned in once the form is submitted. This allows me to keep a spreadsheet of their submissions, so that when I am grading, I can refer to the spreadsheet to make sure I go back to the older assignments to grade their work.
I do not get notifications if they only submit their work through Canvas, and I get too many emails to keep track of their work if they try to email it to me. This system has been very helpful for both the students and myself, since there's a record of each submission.
